Protecting your personal data matters to us. We process your data solely on the basis of the applicable law (GDPR, Austrian TKG 2003). Below we explain the key aspects of data processing on this website.
Location (store finder)
If you choose “Use my location”, your browser reads your position to show you the nearest store. The distance calculation happens entirely on your device. Your position is never sent to our server or stored.
Analytics (cookieless)
We measure anonymously and without cookies which features are used (e.g. “Order now” clicks, store selection, use of the burrito builder). No cookies are set, no fingerprinting is performed and no IP addresses are stored. Since there is no personal tracking, no cookie banner is required.
Benito assistant (Claude / Anthropic)
If you send Benito a free-text message (“Tell Benito what you’re craving”), your text is sent server-side to the Anthropic API (Claude) to generate an order suggestion. We do not transmit personal data and do not store your message beyond the session. If you don’t use the free-text feature, nothing is transmitted — the guided builder works fully without any external processing.
Contacting us
If you contact us by email, your details are stored for six months to process your request. We do not share this data without your consent.
Your rights
You generally have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe the processing of your data breaches data protection law, you can contact us (office@maxbenito.at) or the data protection authority.
